The TickTool

This amazing little device is simple to use, it's safe, it's pocket sized, it's re-usable and it's for humans and pets!

I believe it is the best, most accurate and safest on the market and I will try to explain why.... A tick attaches itself to the host via it's spiky mouth parts, known as barbs. These barbs secure it firmly to it's prey and are through which it feeds/sucks your blood or injects you! The TickTool is able to grab the tick tightly by theses barbs on your skin line, therefore stopping any further transference of fluids either way. Removal is swift and hopefully the tick will not have had the opportunity to vomit it's bacterial ridden gut contents into your bloodstream. LUCKY YOU!

By removing a tick correctly you are far less likely to contract any nasty disease! However, if you use an inferior tool that doesn't grab straight away, or try an improvised method like picking it off with your nails (as i did), you will agitate the tick and at this point he may well decide to throw up into your bloodstream.

The longer you take to remove him the more at risk you are of contracting a disease from him. Then it could be GAME OVER... Lyme time for you!!! And, I wouldn't wish Lyme disease on my worst enemy!!!

My name is Lisa Vallo and I was bitten at home in bed by a tiny tick that my cat had brought in. Because I had no idea what this tiny spider like creature was or how to remove it properly, I contracted Lyme disease there and then. Something which could possibly have been avoided had I have known more facts about ticks and Lyme disease. My life was turned upside down by my total ignorance of this tiny creature and the harmful, potentially deadly bacteria it transmitted to me instantly from that one bite!

My story in brief...

My name is Lisa Vallo and I have been a Lyme disease sufferer since 2001, which has been a living nightmare.

I have set up this website to make you aware of the disease I live with and to also educate you on how you can hopefully prevent it from happening to you or your loved ones.

14 long years was the length of time it took to get my diagnosis of chronic Lyme disease, and to get that, I had to be tested by a laboratory in Germany because the UK testing system is so incredibly unreliable and inaccurate to this day!

The UK test won't pick up anything at all if the disease has spread to your cells, tissues and/or organs!!! (which can take as little as a few weeks only).

I was tested several times over the 14 years in the UK and France and each one was negative!!! For 14 long, wasteful, stressful, "wading through mud" years I was diagnosed with everything from CFS, depression, ME, arthritis, anemia, vitamin D defficiencies, insomnia, etc, etc and of course hypocondria, when all the time I was suffering from undetected Lyme disease, which I had suspected for many years!

Throughout this time, I was often ridiculed by members of the health profession, in particular at the infectious diseases clinic in Bradford! They mocked me for even contemplating the fact that it could be Lyme disease! Can you even begin to imagine how upsetting this was for me.

I knew there was something seriously wrong with me and the only things keeping me going were my family and the frustration of not getting to the truth.

I was always determined to find the truth, even in my darkest days, and there were many!

There's lots more information on this website, so please check it out. And, also please feel free to contact me with any questions, I'm always here to help if I can.

Stay safe and beware the tick!

Lisa "Lyme" Vallo
